Gallstone ileus, a rare complication of cholelithiasis, is caused by an impaction gallstones within the gastrointestinal tract leading to mechanical intestinal obstruction. Here in, we describe case gallstone ileus in 62-year-old woman successfully treated with enterolithotomy. The patient was discharged home after uneventful post-operative period. uncommon and cause obstruction, often delayed presentation non-specific symptoms. preferred approach Elective cholecystectomy acute episode controversial.
